It really amazes me what some strong innovation can do. Everyone was ready to write off the Wii before it even came out. Nintendo realized that if you make your games console fun it will sell. Looks like Nintendo has the last laugh this generation.
These stories are lame. Before every single PS3 or 360 price drop the companies SHOUT there is no price cut coming. Last one for the PS3 there was an article just like this one. The next week PS3 was cheaper.
When the PS3 drops in price (can't deny that it's coming). I will evaluate if I want to buy one. I have done this every single PS3 price drop before. It's only that I can't justify to myself getting all 3 systems right now.
Do I want a PS3? Yes. Is it worth it ...

I can't express the pain I felt after sliding that pac-man cartridge into my 2600. This was not the pac-man I knew and loved. This game didn't make me want to sell my soul for more quarters. A sad sad day for video gaming everywhere.
Also COD3 made me realize just how badass Infinity Ward was.

We have the fanboy syndrome. This affliction is noted to cause the patient severe distortion of reality. Symptoms include convincing yourself that just because you spent your money on a product that it was the best game/system you could have bought.

What a radical thought. You buy what you think you will like. Sometimes you will get burned, but hell that's part of gaming. I got some crappy games for x-mas back in the day. The only thing is games are expensive so roll the dice and hope you pick a winner.
Why oh why do people care SO much about who is selling more? Don't compare the size of your willy with the next guy. Just be HAPPY with what you have.
